Lauren Allen, a graduate of Dobyns-Bennett High School, will receive a $1,000 General Scholarship. Lauren will attend the University of South Carolina, where she plans to major in biochemistry. Lauren is the daughter of Ed and Elena Allen.

Michael Backus, a graduate of Abingdon High School, will receive a $2,500 Engineering Scholarship. He will attend Virginia Tech, where he plans to major in mechanical engineering. Michael is the son of Alan and Kathy Backus.

Shana Bauserman, a graduate of Abingdon High School, will receive a $1,500 Sons & Daughters Scholarship and $1,000 General Scholarship. She will attend Brigham Young University, where she plans to major in wildlife conservation. Shana is the daughter of Jeff and Laurel Bauserman.

Ryan Blanchard, a graduate of Abingdon High School, will receive a $2,500 Engineering Scholarship. He will attend Virginia Tech, where he plans to major in mechanical engineering. Ryan is the son of Bill and Leslie Blanchard.

Cory Dagenhart, a graduate of Sullivan South High School, will receive a $1,000 Career & Technical Scholarship. He will attend Northeast State Technical Community College, where he plans to major in welding/metal fabrication. Cory is the son of Pam Dagenhart of Kingsport, Tenn., and Chris Dagenhart of Johnson City, Tenn.

Emory Ernst, a graduate of Abingdon High School, will receive a $2,500 Engineering Scholarship. He will attend Virginia Tech, where he plans to major in mechanical engineering. Emory is the son of Philip and Linda Ernst.

Emily Farris, a graduate of Abingdon High School, will receive a $1,000 Career & Technical Scholarship. She will attend Virginia Highlands Community College, where she plans to major in general education. Emily is the daughter of David and Sonya Farris.

Matthew Givens, a graduate of Abingdon High School, will receive a $2,500 Engineering Scholarship. He will attend Virginia Tech, where he plans to major in general engineering. Matthew is the son of Steve and Anita Givens.

Raven Marin, a graduate of Abingdon High School, will receive a $1,000 Career & Technical Scholarship. She will attend Virginia Highlands Community College, where she plans to major in illustration/web design. Raven is the daughter of Tamara and Marco Marin.

Aaron Pinto, a graduate of Sullivan South High School, will receive a $2,500 Engineering Scholarship. He will attend the University of Tennessee, where he plans to major in mechanical engineering. Aaron is the son of Vicky and Timothy Pinto.

Scott Strickler, a graduate of Sullivan South High School, will receive a $1,000 General Scholarship. He will attend the University of Tennessee, where he plans to major in engineering. Scott is the son of Bob and Mary Beth Strickler.

Shanna Svoboda, a graduate of Abingdon High School, will receive a $1,000 Career & Technical Scholarship. She will attend Virginia Highlands Community College, where she plans to major in political science. Shanna is the daughter of Russell and Vicki Svoboda.

Central West Virginia

Kaylyn Cochran, a graduate of Webster County High School, will receive a $1,500 Sons & Daughters Scholarship and $1,000 General Scholarship. She will attend Fairmont State University, where she plans to major in education. Kaylyn is the daughter of Randy and Terri Cochran.

Heather Epperson, a graduate of Big Creek High School, will receive a $1,000 Career & Technical Scholarship.

Brian Gerwig, a graduate of Braxton County High School, will receive a $1,000 Career & Technical Scholarship. He will attend West Virginia University Institute of Technology, where he plans to major in diesel technology. Brian is the son of John and Joy Gerwig.

Samantha Golden, a graduate of Big Creek High School, will receive a $1,000 Career & Technical Scholarship. She will attend Mercer County Educational Center, where she plans to study to be a dental assistant. Samantha is the daughter of Larry and Dawn Golden.

John Hailer, a graduate of Braxton County High School, will receive a $2,500 Engineering Scholarship. He will attend West Virginia University, where he plans to major in mechanical and aerospace engineering. John is the son of Tom and Mary Hailer.

Sarah Lively, a graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School, will receive a $1,000 General Scholarship. She will attend Marshall University, where she plans to major in biology. Sarah is the daughter of Mark and Opal Lively.

Dorothy Adams, a graduate of Letcher County Central High School, will receive a $1,000 General Scholarship. She will attend the University of Kentucky, where she plans to major in pharmacy. Dorothy is the daughter of Michael and Laura Adams.

Devin Blair, a graduate of Letcher County Central High School, will receive a $2,500 Engineering Scholarship. He will attend the University of Kentucky, where he plans to major in electrical engineering. Devin is the son of Manis and Cindy Blair.

Jacob Brashear, a graduate of Perry County Central High School, will receive a $2,500 Engineering Scholarship and $1,000 General Scholarship. He will attend the University of Kentucky, where he plans to major in mining engineering. Jacob is the son of Doug and Brenda Brashear.

Jon Bobbera,a graduate of Gilbert High School, will receive a $2,500 Engineering
Scholarship. He will attend West Virginia University, where he plans to major in civil engineering. Jon is the son of Laura Bobbera and the late Jon Bobbera.

Kayla Cline, a graduate of Gilbert High School, will receive a $1,500 Sons and Daughters Scholarship. She will attend Southern West Virginia Community and Technical College, where she plans to major in nursing. Kayla is the daughter of Shawn and Jeannie Cline.

Kirsten Ellis, a graduate of Gilbert High School, will receive a $1,500 Sons & Daughters Scholarship. She will attend West Virginia University, where she plans to major in journalism. Kirsten is the daughter of Matthew and Dolores Ellis.

Christopher Evans, a graduate of Logan High School, will receive a $2,500 Engineering Scholarship. He will attend West Virginia University Institute of Technology, where he plans to major in civil/mining engineering. Christopher is the son of James and Judy Evans.

Darrel Gartin, a graduate of Logan High School, will receive a $2,500 Engineering
Scholarship and $1,000 General Scholarship. He will attend West Virginia Institute of Technology, where he plans to major in mechanical engineering. Darrel is the son of Darrel and Vera Gartin.

Laken Hensley, a graduate of Hurley High School, will receive a $1,500 Sons & Daughters Scholarship. She will attend Southwest Virginia Community College. Laken is the daughter of William and Teddy Hensley.

Chadwick Jackson, a graduate of Wyoming County East High School, will receive a $1,500 Sons & Daughters Scholarship and $1,000 Career & Technical Scholarship. He will attend West Virginia Institute of Technology, where he will major in diesel technology. Chadwick is the son of Jeffery and Diane Jackson.

Whitney Loggins, a graduate of Logan High School, will receive a $1,000 General Scholarship. She will attend Marshall University, where she plans to major in chemistry. Whitney is the daughter of David and Angela Loggins.

Southwest Virginia

Kelsey Addington, a graduate of Castlewood High School, will receive a $1,500 Sons & Daughters Scholarship. She will attend Virginia Tech, where she plans to major in general studies. Kelsey is the daughter of Ronald and Karen Addington.

Jacob Arwood, a graduate of Rye Cove High School, will receive a $2,500 Engineering Scholarship. Beginning this fall, Jacob will attend West Virginia University, where he plans to major in petro/natural gas engineering. Jacob is the son of Michael and Kim Dorton.

Autumn Chisenhall, a graduate of J.J. Kelly High School, will receive a $1,500 Sons & Daughters Scholarship.

Andrew Dye, a graduate of Honaker High School, will receive a $1,000 Career & Technical Scholarship. He will attend Southwest Virginia Community College, where he plans to major in information technology. Andrew is the son of Vanessa Martin and David Dye.

Manisha Kotay, a graduate of Powell Valley High School, will receive a $1,500 Sons & Daughters Scholarship. She will attend the University of Virginia, where she plans to major in communications. Manisha is the daughter of Sreeni Kotay and Shelia and John Short.

Meghan Mullins, a graduate of Clintwood High School, will receive a $1,500 Sons & Daughters Scholarship. She will attend Virginia Tech, where she plans to major in animal and poultry sciences. Meghan is the daughter of Mary and Carroll Wayne McCoy and Bobby Joe Mullins.

Cameron Blythe, a graduate of Russellville High School, will receive a $1,000 General Scholarship. He will attend Murray State University, where he plans to major in civil engineering. Cameron is the son of Scott and Lesa Blythe.

Eric Matava, a graduate of United Jr./Sr. High School, will receive a $1,000 General Scholarship. He will attend the University of Pittsburgh, where he plans to major in political science. Eric is the son of Jerry Matava and Carol Scanga.
